Terms of use
Draft, under review. We may still change these before ElaEat is on the App Store.
Last updated 20 October 2026.
These are the rules for using the ElaEat app and this website. We’ve kept them short and plain. By using ElaEat you agree to them; if you don’t, please don’t use it.
What ElaEat is
ElaEat helps you plan meals and suggests swaps when your day changes. Its suggestions come from an AI model and its nutrition numbers are estimates. They can be wrong.
Not medical advice
We’re not dietitians, doctors or any kind of health professional, and ElaEat isn’t either. It doesn’t diagnose, treat or manage any condition. If you have a medical condition, are pregnant, have or have had an eating disorder, or follow a diet for a medical reason, talk to a professional before changing what you eat.
Allergies and ingredients
ElaEat tries to avoid foods you tell it about, but it can’t see inside a packet or a restaurant kitchen. Always check labels and ask about ingredients yourself.
Who it’s for
ElaEat is made for adults. If you’re under 18, use it only with a parent or guardian’s okay; the app won’t set a calorie target for you.
Using it fairly
Please don’t misuse ElaEat: no trying to break or overload our server, get around the assistant’s monthly allowance, copy the app, or use it to make anything harmful or illegal. We may limit or stop access for anyone who does.
As it is
ElaEat is offered as it is and as available, and it’s in beta. Features may change, pause or stop, and things may break. As far as the law allows, we don’t promise it will be accurate, uninterrupted or fit for any particular purpose, and we aren’t responsible for decisions you make based on it. Nothing here takes away rights you have under the consumer law where you live.
Your data
How we handle your data is in our privacy policy.
Changes
We may update these terms. When we do, we’ll change the date at the top, and for bigger changes we’ll tell you in the app.
